Why Treat Vein Disease?

Relieve Symptoms. Restore Comfort.

Say goodbye to leg pain, swelling, cramping, fatigue, and skin changes. Effective vein treatment helps you feel better, move easier, and live more fully.

Prevent Vein Disease from Getting Worse

Chronic Venous Insufficiency is a progressive condition that can lead to serious complications if left untreated. Early intervention helps halt its progression and protects your long-term health.

THE STAGES OF VENOUS DISEASE

Spider Veins

Cosmetic Issue

Spider veins are small, visible veins that appear just beneath the skin. While they aren’t harmful, many people choose to treat them for cosmetic reasons. We offer sclerotherapy (spider vein injections), a quick, non-surgical solution performed by our certified providers. No ultrasound is needed, and each treatment plan is tailored to your individual needs. Spider veins may indicate more extensive vein insufficiency in deeper veins.

Varicose Veins

Bulging Veins

Varicose veins are a sign of underlying venous insufficiency, where blood isn’t flowing properly through the legs. When veins bulge, it often means they’re under pressure due to valve dysfunction. Diagnosis requires a Doppler Ultrasound, which we perform in our facility following strict clinical protocols. This evaluation helps us pinpoint the problem and create a personalized treatment plan.

ADVANCED VENOUS DISEASE

Swelling, Skin Changes & Ulcers

When vein disease progresses, it can lead to serious complications like chronic swelling, darkened skin around the ankles, thickening or hardening of the skin (lipodermatosclerosis), and painful, non-healing leg ulcers. These are signs of advanced venous insufficiency and should not be ignored. A diagnostic ultrasound is essential to evaluate the severity and guide treatment before symptoms worsen.

TREATMENTS WE OFFER

Our advanced treatment options are state-of the-art and allow for rapid recovery to get you back on your feet.

Radiofrequency Catheter Ablation

A catheter is introduced into the vein and delivers radiofrequency energy to the vein wall, causing it to heat, collapse and seal shut and other healthy veins take over.

VenaSeal™

In-office procedure where a catheter is inserted directly into the diseased vein and injects the VenaSeal® adhesive to seal the vein.

Polidocanol Foam Ablation

A sclerosing foam solution is injected into the vein, causing it to collapse and get sealed shut by the body. Especially effective for tortuous or hard-to-reach veins.

Sclerotherapy

A sclerosing agent is injected directly into the vein to cause it to collapse and fade over time. Commonly used for spider veins and smaller varicose veins.

Phlebectomy

Tiny incisions are made to remove visible varicose veins using a specialized hook. The procedure is minimally invasive with minimal scarring.

Venous Angiogram

A diagnostic imaging procedure that uses contrast dye and X-ray to evaluate vein structure and function, helping identify blockages or abnormalities.

IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound)

An advanced imaging technique using a miniature ultrasound probe inside the vein to visualize the vein wall and guide precise treatment.

Stent Placement

In cases of venous obstruction, a small mesh tube (stent) is placed to keep the vein open and restore normal blood flow.

Placement & Removal of Inferior Vena Cava Filter

Minimally invasive procedure to place or remove a filter in the inferior vena cava, helping prevent blood clots from traveling to the lungs in patients at risk of pulmonary embolism.
